A native of rural Madison County, Kentucky, Starla moved with her husband, Lee, to the Lake Herrington area in 1990. That move also brought their residential construction firm, Yount Properties, to Danville. Having lived in Boyle, Garrard & Mercer counties, the Younts now reside north of Frankfort in Owen County. Following the birth of their daughter, Kendall, in 1998, Starla left her paralegal position with a Lexington law firm to work full-time with her husband. She exclusively manages the company’s rental properties in Lexington, Georgetown, Danville and Harrodsburg. With 20 years experience in and around the construction business, real estate sales was a natural progression. Starla works primarily in the sale of their company’s new home construction in the Danville area.
